… the full impact of Xenakis’s concepts was not, after all, to be found in their sculptural novelty. It was rather received in immersive waves when one entered the main living room and kitchen area and first became aware of the brilliance of the fenestration concept – how it managed the intense Aegean light, turning illumination itself into a sculptural, multimedia experience. Each moment in the passage of a day presents to this space’s occupants a new geometric superimposition of impinging light, made all the more meaningful because the surfaces upon which it falls combine the straight with the curved surfaces that receive.
